Rev. Dr. Lesmore Gibson Ezekiel
Director of Programs All-Africa Conference of Churches
Rev. Dr. Lesmore Gibson Ezekiel currently serves as the Director of Programs after serving as Director for Peace, Diakonia and Development at the All-Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) with its head office in Nairobi, Kenya, where he and his family live. He oversees all programs of the continental ecumenical organization. He is an ordained minister of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN). He has served in different capacities in the church before joining the ecumenical and mission-oriented organizations at local to the global levels. Before joining the AACC, Rev. Lesmore served as Country Director of LWF funded project, Symbols of Hope in Nigeria after serving as programs focal person for Programme for Christian-Muslim Relations in Africa (PROCMURA). He serves in different Boards and Councils of many agencies and institutions.
Rev. Lesmore holds NCE in Agricultural Science, Bachelor of Arts in CRS, Bachelor of Theology, Master of Theology, Master of Advanced Studies in Ecumenism, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Ecumenical Theology and Ministerial Studies. He has a good number of publications to his credit.
He is an unrepentant Pan-Africanist influenced by the Afro-ideological philosophy of “Ubuntu”. He is known for his passion for a Just World rooted in justice, equity and inclusivity.
