Dr. Andrew Kipkebut

Dr. Andrew Kipkebut is a  Lecturer / Innovation and Business Incubation Coordinator at Kabarak University with 10+ yrs of experience in teaching at the university level. He holds a Ph.D. in  I. T security and Audit ( Kabarak University), MSc-Computer Science (University of District of Columbia -USA) and BSc- in Computer Science .His research focuses on Data science ,Artificial Intelligence, machine learning , Cyber Security, Generative AI and Cloud Computing. He has presented his work at several academic conferences  both locally and at the  international  level, the most recent one is  International Conference on the Advancements of Artificial Intelligence in Africa( IEEE  ConAAIAC-2023 ) in Arusha Tanzania and AAAI  conference at Vancouver Canada 2024  where he is also a registered member, Dr Andrew has also undertaken  a number of research that directly involves the local communities, the recent and ongoing  is on developing translation model for low resourced languages  in Kenya  that is funded by Lacuna.
Andrew is also a certified Microsoft educator (21st century Up skilling)  , Microsoft/ AWS  Cloud practioner , CompTia security + certified  among others
